We’ve heard time and again from users: “I find great stores through Google search, but every time I try to buy from an online store, I have to re-enter the same billing, shipping, and credit card information. There are too many steps. Why can’t it be as fast as a Google search?” This motivated us to improve the online purchase process, and so today we’re announcing Google Checkout, a checkout option that makes buying across the web fast and easy.
He listed a four step plan beginning with the creation of a new ext4 filesystem registered with the kernel temporarily as ‘ext3dev’, “this will be explicitly marked as an CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL filesystem, and will in affect be a ‘development fork’ of ext3. A similar split of the fs/jbd will be made in order to support 64-bit jbd, which will be used by fs/ext4 and future versions of ocfs2.” Theodore explained that new features will go into the ext3dev tree, with only bugfixes making their way back to the stable ext3 tree. He noted that it will remain important that the ext4 code base can mount ext3 filesystems, “this is necessary to ensure a future smooth upgrade path from ext3 to ext4 users.” Finally, “probably in 6-9 months when we are satisified with the set of features that have been added to fs/ext4, and confident that the filesystem format has stablized, we will submit a patch which causes the fs/ext4 code to register itself as the ext4 filesystem.” He further noted that once ext4 is deemed fully stable, it may completely replace ext3 in the source tree.

WordPress by default doesn’t come with any sort of web site reporting tools (and it really shouldn’t). So if you want to know how many people visited your site, which pages they viewed, or where they came from, you’ll need to either rely on your raw web logs or use an online tracking service provided by a third party. There are many different third party web tracking services out there, but the two free and popular third party solutions that I highly recommend are Google Analytics (for web traffic) and Feedburner (for syndicated traffic).
Like most bloggers, I check my web stats pretty regularly, and I wanted a quicker way to get an overview of what’s going on with my site. So I created a WordPress plugin to do just that.
You can download the plugin here.

Did you know that Eclipse TPTP can perform static analysis of your code? If I have lost you, static analysis is the process of digging through source code looking for patterns and usage that appears to be a bad programming practice. Through this process, you can typically find a significant number of problems.
In this tutorial I will describe how to install and configure mod_deflate on an Apache2 web server. mod_deflate allows Apache2 to compress files and deliver them to clients (e.g. browsers) that can handle compressed content which most modern browsers do. With mod_deflate, you can compress HTML, text or XML files to approx. 20 - 30% of their original sizes, thus saving you server traffic and making your modem users happier.

Microsoft has admitted that Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) will phone Redmond every day - something it neglected to tell users before they installed it.
WGA is designed to detect pirated copies of MS software but is also creating some false positives - two UK dealers have contacted the Reg to report customers complaining that WGA had branded their software as an illegal copy.

So, how can I remove it from my computer?
I found this interesting article explaining the use of WGA Remover.
